The Torroella de Montgrí i l’Estartit Town Council has commissioned a promotional video with the aim of attracting visitors this autumn and serving as a basis for promotional campaigns next summer. The video has begun airing on TV3 and reviews the main tourist attractions of the municipality in 20 seconds.
Under the slogan ‚Here you will find everything, discover us‘, the video features aerial images of the Medes Islands , Montgrí and the Ter River , the agricultural plain and popular culture. Its message conveys the idea that in Torroella and L’Estartit the visitor will be able to connect with ancient corners, authentic flavours, unspoilt nature and an inexhaustible charm.
The video, promoted by the Tourism Department of the Torroella de Montgrí City Council, has been produced by the Torroella de Montgrí producer Jordi Dalmau with voiceover by Eva Trullàs, also from Torroella. Apart from being broadcast on TV3 this early autumn, it is also broadcast through the screens of the L’Estartit Tourist Office and with different versions through social networks. This action is financed by the tourist destination’s promotion items and is part of the annual communication planning. A planning, which includes advertisements on social networks, magazines, publications of interest and other media. In fact, one of the lines of the Tourism Sustainability Plan that the Torroella de Montgrí City Council is developing, is aimed at maintaining and building public loyalty, building a brand and developing specialized promotional campaigns. A line in which the council will continue to work.
For Tourism Councillor Dúnia Oliveras, the intention is to show that Torroella and l’Estartit „is a destination suitable all year round and that goes beyond the sun and beach“. In fact, she added, „one of the lines to be followed by the area, for some time now, is to try to deseasonalize the tourist season as much as possible, and by carrying out this type of campaign, such as now, at the end of September, that is precisely what is intended“.
