Ítaca Sant Joan will kick off the summer in L'Estartit with a commitment to sustainability

Ítaca Sant Joan will once again kick off the summer in L’Estartit with two days of concerts on June 24 and 25. Alizz , Triquell , Vetusta Morla , Els Catarres , Iseo & Dodosound , Serial Killerz , Boom Boom Fighters & Cookah P , La Maravillosa Orquestra del Alcohol , Carmen 113 and Ryna Dj will be part of the line-up.

This year the Festival wants to make a commitment to sustainability with the elimination of single-use plastics within its premises, the presence of fountains to avoid water bottles and a reinforcement of public transport to minimize mobility problems at the entrances to l’Estartit. Although several of the names that make up the line-up had already been revealed since last Christmas, this Thursday the entire programme was finally presented in an event on the beach of l’Estartit on top of a bus, to symbolise this commitment to sustainable mobility.

Alizz and Vetusta Morla, as headliners

The night of June 23 will be headlined by Alizz, the singer from Baix Llobregat, named Cristian Quirante , is one of the big names in Catalan music. After producing such prominent names as C.Tangana , Rosalia , Aitana or Amaia, he arrives in L’Estartit in his role as an artist to present a work that stands out for fusing classic pop with other rhythms, such as house, trap, dancehall, afrobeat or reggaeton. The provocative ‚Què passa nen?‘ is one of the hits from his latest work ‚Boicot‘ which will surely be heard on the beach in L’Estartit. Alongside the Grammy winner for his role as a producer will be Iseo & Dodosound , Serial Killerz , Boom Boom Fighters & Cookah P and Els Catarres. The following day, on the 24th, Vetusta Morla will offer the only concert in Catalonia with tickets available. The Madrid band will review their discography full of success in a powerful live show full of communion with the audience. They will share the stage with the people of Madrid, the euphoric Triquell . One of the most charismatic singers of the first edition of the ‚talent show‘ Eufòria on TV3 will take to the stage in L’Estartit to present his first work with the successful Jugular.

The lineup for the 24th is completed by La Meravillosa Orquestra del Alcohol (La MODA) , Carmen 113 and Ryna Dj. Like last year, Ítaca has scheduled a light show with drones by Flock Drone Art. Beyond Ítaca Sant Joan from April 8 to July 2, the Ítaca Festival will offer 17 concerts in six municipalities in the Empordà. Tickets for all these concerts, including those in l’Estartit, are now on sale through the festival website.
