The Pere Blasi Municipal Library opened to the public on April 21, 2007. It is located in the complex of the old estate of Can Quintana and has the Museum of the Mediterranean in front of it, with which it forms a first-class cultural facility, in the heart of the old town. The space has about 1000 m2 spread over two floors. On the ground floor we can find the children’s area, the audiovisuals and the newspaper library and on the first floor a study and reading area.
The aim of the library is to ensure free and unlimited access to knowledge, thought, culture and information. This access must provide the basic conditions for learning, for deciding freely and must ensure the cultural development of the people and collectives of the municipality.

• Comics corner: section dedicated to comics.
