Just 45 kilometers from Girona, L’Estartit stands out as one of the great attractions of the Costa Brava. Its origin dates back to the 17th century, when, for the first time, the presence of a fishing community was recorded that settled there, attracted by the fishing grounds. Since then, growth has been gradual but constant. Today it is a fishing town inhabited by less than 3000 residents.
