Construction of the new bathing access platform at El Molinet to begin on 29 September

The construcction of a new access platform to the bathing area at El Molinet, in l’Estartit, are scheduled tot start on 29 September 2025. The project includes the creation of a ramp and platform, designed to make it easier for experienced swimmers and scuba divers to access the water in the area known as Les Lloses, next to the breakwater.  This initiative is part of the Tourist Sustainability Plan of Torroella de Montgrí and L’Estartit.

The works are expected to last approximately two and a half months. During this period, there will be heavy rock movements and material unloading along the Molinet Promenade.

The schedule has been planned for after the high tourist season and the Pirates and Corsairs Fair, in order to minimise disruption and ensure completion before the end of 2025.
