Two campsites in Torroella de Montgrí and l'Estartit receive two international awards for excellence

The excellence of the campsites in Torroella de Montgrí and l’Estartit has once again been recognized by two of Europe’s most prestigious motoring associations, Germany’s ADAC and the Netherlands’ ANWB.

ADAC, Europe’s leading motoring organization with over 21 million members, awarded the highest 5-star rating to Les Medes campsite (l’Estartit) and Delfín Verde campsite (Torroella de Montgrí), cementing their status as leaders in high-quality camping on the Costa Brava.

Meanwhile, ANWB, with 4.8 million members in the Netherlands, recognized Les Medes as one of their “Top Campsites 2025,” one of the highest accolades for establishments that stand out for their quality, services, and commitment to customer experience.

Costa Brava campsites among the best in Europe

Catalan campsites have gained significant recognition in these awards, particularly those in the Girona region, which received 13 national nominations, 8 of which were from the Costa Brava. This success strengthens the region’s position as one of the most attractive destinations for camping and outdoor tourism enthusiasts.

With these recognitions, Torroella de Montgrí and l’Estartit are solidified as top-tier destinations for European campers, especially for the German and Dutch markets, which have a long tradition of camping and caravanning tourism.
