L’Estartit has installed 17 new signs with updated information about its coastal landscapes and its fishing heritage. The objective is to highlight the importance of such inheritance. The billboards and lecterns are placed in strategic points of the Passeig Marítim, The Molinet, the Ter Vell and the Pletera.
This action is part of the Tourism Sustainability Plan and has cost 22,094.29 euros. It has also received funds from the Costa Brava Local Fishing Action Group. Dúnia Oliveras, Councilor of the Tourist Destination, said that this action will divulge both to visitors and neighbors, some of the town’s main assets, especially those which are linked to its maritime tradition.
