L’Estartit has new signage to value the coastal landscapes and fishing heritage of the town. 10 large-sized ‘corten’ iron billboards have been installed, with updated information and a new graphic design at different strategic points on the Promenade, El Molinet, El Ter Vell and La Pletera.
The production and installation of the supports have been awarded through the Tourism Sustainability Plan , for an amount of 22,094.29 euros. It has also received a subsidy from the Costa Brava Local Fishing Action Group. Dúnia Oliveras , councilor for Tourist Destination, ensures that with this action, it will be possible to make known, both to visitors and neighbors and residents, some of the main assets of the town, especially those linked to its maritime tradition. The unique coastal landscapes such as the Montgrí coast, the Ter Vell marshland or the coastal dunes are also valued.
