The best Jazz on the Costa Brava returns to l'Estartit

The l’Estartit Jazz Festival returns from July 21 to 24 with eight concerts after the forced cancellation of the 2020 and 2021 editions due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

A long-awaited return to Punta del Molinet with views of the Medes Islands that will host names such as Al Di Meola , Mulatu Astake , Stacey Kent and the Jazz Manouche of B iel Ballester Trio and Thomas Kretzschmar. The concerts will be held at eight and 10 pm, recovering a double concert format that was already operating before the pandemic.

Full lineup with emerging and established talent

The organization emphasizes that this year’s program plays all the parts of jazz from vocal to instrumental, from the most traditional to the most avant-garde. And a line-up in which consolidated names coexist with emerging talent. The space will have a catering area with a bar and ‘food trucks’ on the Molinet promenade, which will have a terrace facing the Mediterranean with one of the most beautiful views of the Medes Islands. Tickets can be purchased on the festival website from June 5 at a price that ranges between 22 and 30 euros.
