The second stage of the Costa Brava Stage Run will end in L'Estartit

About 200 people from all over the world will take part in this competition.

The second stage of the Costa Brava Stage Run will end in L’ Estartit . It is a stage sports competition that will be held between today, Friday and Sunday, April 3 and consists of two modalities: One with a route of 120 kilometers and another with a route of 80 kilometers.

Organized by BiFree Sports , with the support of Tuga Active Wear and the Costa Brava Pirineu Tourist Board , a total of 200 people from all over the world will participate, living and dining together over the three days. In fact, 60% of the athletes are from outside Spain. 30% of the participants are women.

At the starting line there will be runners from countries such as China , Switzerland , Belgium , Romania , Hungary , Austria , the United Kingdom , Sweden , Germany , Canada , Denmark , the Netherlands , the United States , several Autonomous Communities of the Spanish State and Catalonia .

Arrival at the Promenade of L’Estartit

The first stage, 22 km, goes from Blanes to Tossa de Mar with a difference in altitude of 900 meters. The second, ends in l’Estartit and begins in Platja d’Aro in the case of the long modality and in Calella in the case of the short modality. 48 and 30 km respectively with 1,600 and 1,200 meters respectively. The third stage will end in Portbou and begin in Roses in the case of the long modality and in Cadaqués in the case of the short modality. 48 and 29 km with 1,500 and 900 meters of difference in altitude respectively. The Stage Run will show the world the landscapes of the Costa Brava with two scenic natural parks such as Montgrí, Les Illes Medes and Baix Ter and Cap de Creus. In the case of L’Estartit, the runners will arrive after crossing the Ter gorge and the finish line will be located on the Passeig Marítim between Cala Pedrosa Street and Avinguda de Grècia . This section will be closed between 08:00 and 19:00.
