Torroella City Council launches an APP with citizen information and a tourist section

The Torroella de Montgrí City Council has created a citizen information application for mobile devices such as phones or tablets with the aim of allowing citizens to have access to all the information about the municipality in a quick and simple way.

The new application has been developed by the company Mostrarium and is available for both Android and iOS devices. With a simple and tidy interface, citizens will be able to consult information related to the activity agenda, outstanding news, events in the municipality, the facilities available in Torroella de Montgrí and l’Estartit, issues related to mobility, the environment and health, among others. Also receive warnings if notifications are activated. In addition, it has a tourist section with information on the main attractions and services of the Torroella-l’Estartit-Illes Medes destination.

Information about the visit

This section replicates the information existing on the visitestartit website such as the attractions of Torroella de Montgrí, l’Estartit and the Natural Park, information on activities, accommodation and catering. The information in the App is extracted directly from the website of the tourist destination, so when the website is updated the application will also be updated. Torroella de Montgrí i l’Estartit is committed to innovation in this way with the intention of anticipating the needs of citizens by creating solutions based on creativity to make a connected municipality.
