Torroella de Montgrí and l'Estartit participates in the Kids Innovation Fest

The Torroella de Montgrí-Estartit-Illes Medes Destination has participated in the Kids Innovation Fest that was held this Thursday in Lloret de Mar and where, through the Costa Brava Girona Tourist Board, the Costa Brava’s offer in terms of family tourism was presented.

This is the fifth edition of this annual event in the family tourism sector where the market situation and its future trends are discussed. It is organized by Kids Clúster , a conglomerate of companies and public institutions that brings together more than 60 private and public entities and 18,000 professionals in the family tourism sector.

The program of activities included talks on the trends that define the sector’s business model, gamification workshops for professionals in the world of tourism, networking, presentation of products aimed at children and families and debates on the future of family tourism, among others.

Family Tourism Destination since 2008

Torroella de Montgrí i l’Estartit has been a family tourism destination since 2008 when it obtained the seal issued by Turisme de Catalunya. A seal that recognizes Catalan municipalities or tourist areas that have an offer of accommodation and catering adapted to the needs of families, with a wide variety of leisure and entertainment proposals.
