sepia project

The SEPIA PROJECT was born with the aim of improving the reproduction conditions of cephalopods and repopulating the waters of the Empordà.

Due to the great decline of cuttlefish, it is no longer possible to live off their fishing and this has economic, social and environmental repercussions. To respond to these problems, we promote the SEPIA PROJECT, which aims to ensure the reproduction of cephalopods and the incorporation of juveniles into the populations of the Empordà bays. We work with artisanal fishermen to preserve traditional fishing and promote sustainable practices. We also work to make society aware of the sea and to promote sustainable tourism.
