L'Estartit beach

L’Estartit Beach is located between the port and the River Ter gorge, stretching over approximately 3 kilometres of fine sand and shallow water.

Historically, the beach served as a place where fishermen would leave their boats when the weather was bad. Today, it offers a wide range of activities for visitors, including swimming, sunbathing, playing sports, and enjoying the sand.

The beach is divided into three distinct areas:

1. The Sand Area: Ideal for walking, wildlife observation with binoculars, practicing yoga under the parasol, or simply relaxing on a deckchair with a good book.
2. The Swimming Area: Located closest to the sand, this area is delimited by buoys and is perfect for floating on inflatable mattresses, playing ball, swimming, and snorkelling.
3. The Water Area: Beyond the swimming buoys, this space is dedicated to water sports such as kitesurfing, windsurfing, paddle surfing, kayaking, and pedalos, offering an exciting experience for those looking for adventure on the water.
