The Coastal Management Area of the Torroella de Montgrí City Council has created an online survey to capture the opinion of users on the state of the beaches and work to improve their services. The survey is carried out every summer and is in Catalan , English, French and Spanish .
The format is closed-ended multiple-choice questions, where 1 is ‘very poor’ and 5 is ‘very good’. Questions are asked about the quality of the water and sand, the beach services, the staff who take care of it, the signage or cleanliness, among others. And at the end there is an open space for users to make comments or suggestions if they wish. The coastal strip of the municipality is 15 kilometres long, of which 5.4 are beaches.
