The Tourist Office of l’Estartit has registered a total of 26,824 visitors during the 2024 summer season, a figure that maintains the trend of recent years. These data consolidate the destination as one of the tourist references of the Costa Brava. Throughout the months of June, July, August and September, the influx of visitors to the Tourist Office has been constant with the month of August as the leader with 8,075 visitors followed by July with 7,732; September with 5,883 visitors and June with 5,134 visitors. The day of the year with the highest influx was July 15 with more than 500 people attended.
During the summer season of 2023, 28,234 visitors were registered, and in 2022 there were 27,603. These values demonstrate the stability and attractiveness of l’Estartit as a tourist destination. It is worth noting that in 2021, still marked by the restrictions of the pandemic, the office received 18,742 visitors. From the beginning of the year until September, a total of 36,396 people have passed through the l’Estartit Tourist Office.
Regarding consultations, a total of 22,947 requests have been attended to, both in person and electronically and by telephone. The month with the most consultations was August with 7,083 followed by July with 5,902 consultations; September with 5,196 consultations and June with 4,046 consultations. The most consulted topics have been events held in the municipality (3,657 consultations), information about L’Estartit and its points of interest (3,226 consultations), boat excursions (1,490 consultations), active tourism activities (1,471 consultations) and transport (1,468 consultations). Other relevant topics have been routes and itineraries, the Montgrí Natural Park, the Costa Brava and the Baix Empordà region.
In terms of nationalities, the French were the most numerous, with a total of 9,016 queries, followed by Catalans (6,479) and Spaniards (2,876). Other notable nationalities were the Dutch (1,252 queries), the British (752 queries), Germans (732 queries) and Belgians (718 queries). 294 queries were received from outside Europe.
