The Tourist Destination Torroella de Montgrí - Estartit - Medes Islands receives the seal that accredits it as a member of the Intelligent Tourist Destination network

The Councilor for Tourist Destinations, Dúnia Oliveras, and the technician responsible for membership management, Marta Vilavedra, received the badge from the President of Seggittur, Enrique Martínez; and the Deputy Director General of Tourism Cooperation and Competitiveness of the Spanish Government, Felix de Paz García. The Torroella de Montgrí City Council has received the seal that accredits the Torroella de Montgrí-Estartit-Illes Medes Destination as adhering to the Intelligent Tourist Destinations (DTI) .

The award was made within the framework of the Madrid International Tourism Fair ( FITUR ), after a process in which it was examined whether the municipality meets the requirements and indicators to be admitted to this network. The Councilor for Tourist Destinations, Dúnia Oliveras , and the technician responsible for managing the membership, Marta Vilavedra , received the badge from the President of Seggittur, Enrique Martínez; and the Deputy Director General for Tourism Cooperation and Competitiveness of the Spanish Government, Felix de Paz García.

Involvement of all municipal areas

The Councilor for Tourism, Dúnia Oliveras, thanked the involvement of all areas of the City Council in managing the validation of all indicators. At Fitur, representatives of the City Council participated in different events and presentations at the Fair.
