This summer, L’ Estartit will have a new parking lot and welcome area at the entrance to the town, which will reduce traffic inside the town.

The property where it will be built is currently a 5,927 m2 open field bounded by the Torroella road, Marcel·lí Audivert street and Freu street.

Almost a hundred spaces for cars and an area for coaches

The new car park will have 95 spaces for cars, 4 for coaches and 4 for people with reduced mobility. It will also have a rest area with public toilets and a rest area. The action has a budget of 157,000 euros and is one of the 29 projects planned within the framework of the Torroella and l’Estartit Tourism Sustainability Plan . This project, in particular, is included in the 2.1 Sustainable Mobility action programme, in which 665,000 euros will be allocated.
