The new coworking space in l’Estartit is now operational. The Torroella de Montgrí City Council has equipped a room in the Estació Nàutica l’Estartit-Illes Medes facilities to accommodate digital nomads , people who travel and work remotely or people who want to work remotely while they are in town, whether at their second home or visiting.
The space has four workstations, an Internet connection, a printer and a screen for video calls and presentations. It is intended for occasional use, not as a permanent work space, and the entire room can also be reserved for a meeting or presentation. To use it, you must make a reservation in advance at the Tourist Office , which runs a free service.
This is one of the projects included in the Tourism Sustainability Plan of Torroella de Montgrí and l’Estartit (2021-2023). Specifically, it is included in action program 4.2 and has involved an investment of around 7,000 euros.
