Yoga, aqua walking, running and beach sports to enjoy nature and wellbeing on the Costa Brava

This summer, L’Estartit once again offers a programme of free beach sports activities designed for everyone who wants to stay active while enjoying the Mediterranean outdoors. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Medes Islands and the Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park, these activities combine sport, nature and wellbeing in a unique coastal setting.

The programme promotes active tourism and offers new ways to experience the destination beyond the traditional sun-and-beach holiday.

The programme includes beach yoga sessions every Wednesday and Friday in July and August at Parc de la Pineda (8 pm in July and 7.30 pm in August). Running sessions take place every Thursday at the same location and times.

For those who enjoy exercising in the sea, aqua walking is held every Tuesday in July and August at 8 am, starting from Agroruralsurf (Carrer de les Salines, 16). Prior registration is required via info@visitestartit.com or +34 972 75 19 10.

The programme also features beach volleyball every Wednesday at 6 pm, ultimate frisbee every Friday from 8 pm to 9 pm, and beach rugby sessions on Wednesdays and Fridays throughout July, with schedules adapted to different age groups and skill levels. All these activities take place on L’Estartit’s main beach.

In addition, Fitness & Stretching sessions will be held at La Pletera beach on 2, 16 and 30 July and 13 and 27 August, from 7 pm to 9 pm, with a maximum of 20 participants.

With this programme, L’Estartit strengthens its position as an active tourism destination on the Costa Brava, where outdoor activities, nature and wellbeing are all part of the holiday experience.
