The Medes Camping in l’Estartit hosted the Internal Benchmarking of Universal Ecotourism this Friday morning, organized by the Catalan Tourist Agency ( ACT ). This day served to learn and collaborate in the field of universal ecotourism and discover the sustainable and accessible initiatives that are developed in the municipality and within the framework of the Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter natural park.
During the day, the head of the Tourist Office, Marta Vilavedra , explained the municipality’s actions in terms of accessibility and presented the Multi-Capacities Itinerary project from Pletera to the Montgrí, Medes Islands and Baix Ter Natural Park . Afterwards, a Sensory Guided Tour of the Itinerary was provided by the Universal Ecotourism Association.
