L’Estartit will open this summer a new public parking zone at the entrance of the village which will reduce traffic in the downtown.
The new parking will be built in a large open space of 5,927 m2 between Torroella Road, Marcel·li Audivert street and Freu Street. It will have 95 places for cars, 4 for coaches and 4 for disabled people. Furthermore, it will dispose of a meeting point with public toilet and rest area.
The budget of the project is around 157.000 euros. It is one of the 29 projects planned within the Torroella and L’Estartit Sustainable Tourism Plan.
