The winner of Masterchef Spain, Arnau París, is the main claim of the Empordà Cuina i Salut Fair (Cuisine and Health Fair) in Torroella de Montgrí which will take place on April 28, 29 and 30.
This healthy food fair is a unique showcase to enjoy local products, the most entertaining ‘showcookings’ and talks about a leisurely, sustainable and healthy lifestyle. The Empordà Cuisine and Health Fair wants to divulge the health benefits of a conscious and quality diet.
There will be show cooking of healthy recipes by nutritionist Glenn Cots; of herbs with popularizers Pilar Herrera and Marisa Benavente; and local products with the winner of Materchef Spain, Arnau París.
Sònia Carmona, known as the Foodlovers on Instagram, will present two of the ‘showcooking’s’ that have been organised.
Market of artisan products and healthy food
In addition to the showcookings, the Fira Empordà Cuina i Salut has a local market, the ecological market Món Empordà and will coincide with the Botiga al Carrer (street shopping day).
The most informative part of the fair is covered with two talks on preventing problems with the pelvic floor and on nutritional strategies by the physiotherapists Alba Guillén and Marta Gurillo and the nutritionist, Anna Sauló.
The fair will have musical street entertainment, parades and workshops. Like the apron painting workshop run by La Xarranca.
On Sunday morning, the Natural Park of Montgrí, the Medes Islands and Baix Ter, has organized a guided tour to discover the healing herbs of Montgrí.
The Empordà Cuina i Salut Fair has also planned a demonstration of local products from the ‘És del Montgrí’ brand
