L’Estartit has a new coworking space. Torroella de Montgrí City Council has set up a room in the L’Estartit-Illes Medes Nautical Station to accommodate digital nomads, people who travel and telework or people who want to telework while they are in town, either in their second home or visiting.
The space has four workstations, an Internet connection, a printer and a screen for video calls and presentations. It is not conceived as a fixed workspace only for one-time use, and the entire room can also be reserved in the event of a meeting or presentation.
To use it is necessary to make a prior reservation at the Tourist Office, and the service has no fee.
A project included in the Tourism Sustainability Plan
This is one of the projects included in the Tourism Sustainability Plan for Torroella de Montgrí and L’Estartit (2021-2023) and it has an investment of about 7,000 euros.
