Coinciding with Easter holidays, the beach season in Torroella de Montgrí and L’Estartit has begun with the start of the surveillance and lifeguard service. This service is open between 11 am and 6 pm.
Over the last few weeks, the municipal brigade has cleaned the beaches, has installed the walkways and green points, has prepared the car park zones and has gotten the public toilets ready to use.
This year, due to the extreme drought that Catalonia is suffering with restrictions on water consumption, there will be no showers or foot washes. Public toilets will have water but only for cleaning hands or face. It is demanded a responsible use of this water.
