Torroella de Montgrí City Council has installed two benches with electricity to charge electronic devices in Torroella de Montgrí and l’Estartit.
One of the benches has been installed at the Torroella de Montgrí Bus Station while the other has been placed in front of the l’Estartit Tourist Office.
This new street furniture is equipped with a solar panel that serves four USB sockets and two contact charging sockets. It allows you to charge electronic devices such as mobile phones and tablets and has a safety system that disconnects the electricity in case of overload. It also has an automatic light strip that opens at night.
The street furniture has been installed by the Magourban company as part of the Tourism Sustainability Plan.
