The City Council of Torroella de Montgrí has started works to set up the beaches of Torroella and Estartit for Easter.
The brigade is installing showers, wooden walkways and is cleaning the beaches, specially the Platja Gran of l’Estartit.
Lifeguard service begins on April 14th
Regarding the lifeguard and surveillance service, it will start on Thursday 14th April and will be provided daily until the 18th. Then it will be provided on weekends, until June 15th when it will start to be daily.
This year, the City Council will improve the cleaning of the beaches and will make it more sustainable with less machines and a new protocol approved by the Montgrí Natural Park.
