Torroella de Montgrí and L’Estartit are prepared to welcome the Three Wise Men and their pages in the most magical night of the year. The city Council has everything prepared to help Melcior, Gaspar and Balthasar to hand over gifts to the children.
In Torroella de Montgrí the 5th of january are full of activities to prepare the arrival of the Kings. At 11.00 in the Espai Ter there will be a lantern workshop until 14.00. Also at 11.00 in the same place the royal postmen will collect the letters for the Three Kings until 16.00.
The most exciting moment of the day will start at 19.15h in the Passeig de Catalunya where fireworks will welcome his Royal Highness who will arrive by l’Estartit road. Then, they will go to the Plaça de la Vila in a parade that will follow the Plaça del Lledoner, the Passeig de Catalunya, the Passeig Vicenç Bou, the carrer Fora Portal, the carrer Ullà and will finish in the Plaça del a Vila.
From the city council balcony Melcior, Gaspar and Balthasar will speak to the citizens.
There will be a section of the Three Wise Man parade free of acoustic contamination for people who are noise sensitive.
At l’Estartit, The Kings arrive by boat
At l’Estartit, organized by the Reis de l’Estartit Association, His Royal Highness will arrive at 18.30h in the harbor. A Fireworks will welcome them from La Platgeta. Then, the Three Wise Man will go to their camp in a parade that will follow the Passeig Marítim. During this cavalcade the Kings will hand out gluten free sweets.
The camp is placed in the old Restaurant Robert.
