Torroella de Montgrí and L’Estartit have renewed 12 SICTED Awards of tourist quality.
The purpose of these distinctions is to ensure that the best service is offered with the best guarantees, pursuing continuous improvement and promoting a basic level of quality for all services and resources linked to the tourism of the Baix Empordà region.
The companies, services and institutions distinguished by the Tourist Quality Plan in SICTED are annually evaluated and renew their commitment to quality. They are evaluated through different items such as the management of the people, customer services, communication services, sale of products, suppliers, maintenance of facilities or sustainable environmental management.
This Quality Plan is based on a system promoted by the Spanish Government. SICTED is currently being implanted in 190 destinations in Spain with more than 13,000 companies affiliated and/or distinguished.
The public and private sector, awarded
A total of 12 institutions, facilities and companies in Torroella de Montgrí and L’Estartit have received their SICTED badges.
