The City Council of Torroella de Montgrí and l’Estartit has created an online survey in order to know the opinion of users about the state of the beaches with the objective to improve its services. The survey is launched every summer in Catalan, English, French and Spanish.
The format is close questions with multiple options where 1 is ‘very deficient’ and 5 us ‘very good’. The questions are about the quality of the water and sand, the beach’s services and the staff who take care of them or the cleanliness of the beach. At the end of the survey there’s an open space to make suggestions and comments.
The coastal strip of the municipality has a length of 15 kilometers. 5,4 of them are beaches.
