L'Estartit
The Santa Anna Fountain, dating back to 1875, is the most significant water source in L’Estartit and has long served as a meeting point for the local community. Beyond providing drinking water, it was also used for washing clothes, making it an essential part of daily life. The water supplied by the fountain comes from the Montgrí Massif, highlighting its connection to the region’s natural resources.
The fountain is sponsored by Escola Portitxol, further emphasising its role in the heritage and social fabric of the town.
