The apple gastronomic days have started with seven restaurants in Torroella de Montgrí and L’Estartit. As a new proposal, this year the main course will be a fish ‘suquet’. (Fish stew).
This gastronomic festival is organized by the Estació Nàutica L’Estartit-Illes Medes with the collaboration of Torroella de Montgrí City Council and the EMD of L’Estartit (decentralized local administration). It has the sponsorship of IGP Poma de Girona and Castell de Peralada Cellar. The festival will take throughout this October.
The restaurants that participate in this campaign are: Picassso from Torroella de Montgrí and Alba, Can Dalfó, Club Nàutic, La Palmera, la Xula and Medes II from l’Estartit.
Next to the menus, there are two activities. An apple show cooking on Saturday 8th at 11am in the l’Església Square of L’Estartit; And an apple dessert competition in La Vila Square of Torroella de Montgrí the October 15th at 6pm.
