Torroella de Montgrí has received the blue flag that certifies the quality of Cala Montgó beach during an event held in La Fosca of Palamós.
The Minister for Climate Action of the Government of Catalonia, Teresa Jordà, has delivered the banners to the municipalities of the Costa Brava that have been recognized for its high standards of quality, safety, environmental education and information, the provision of services and general environmental management of their beaches.
Cala Montgó has this certificate from 2008
Cala Montgó has this certificate uninterruptedly since 2010.
In Catalonia, 94 beaches have been recognized with the Blue Flag, 26 of them from the Costa Brava.
