6. Carrer de l’Església and houses from the 16th and 17th centuries

From the Plaça de la Vila we take Carrer de l’Església northwards.

The Sastregener House, from the 16^th century, stands on the left-hand corner and overlooks the square. Also on the left-hand side, at number 9, is the 19^th-century colonial-style Galibern House. Opposite, at number 14, stands the Solterra Mansion, with a façade in Gothic and Renaissance style, now housing a contemporary painting museum. Further up there are two houses from the 16^th and 17^th centuries: The Bataller House at number 19 and the Seguer House at number 31. There is also a 19^th-century colonial-style mansion, the Comas House.
